From its outset, the Church of the Nazarene has been a missional people, that is, a people "responding to the call of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the world, witnessing to the Lordship of Christ and participating with God in the building of the Church and the extension of His kingdom" (Nazarene Core Values).
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations . . ." (Matthew 28:19) is our mandate to share the good news with our family members, neighbors and co-workers, and our responsibility is to every person on earth.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI) exists to assist our churches in fulfilling this task by:
Advocating & interceding for those who have not yet heard the Gospel… Giving vision & mobilizing the church to go where the Gospel has not yet been preached… Through prayer support, financial giving, global awareness and involvement of all ages, individuals and local churches can contribute to reaching people for Christ around the world.
