Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, Papua New Guinea:  During the Christmas season of 2014,   Missionary Rachel Thompson’s brother, Nate Baranowski and his wife Jill, came and visited Rachel, Jordan, Miles and the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in the highlands of Papua New Guinea.

Nate is a professional artist who does mostly chalk drawings, but was willing to put his artistic skills to use. In a short period of time, Nate began capturing life at Kudjip station through the artistic gifts that God has given him.

Nate has created an amazing mural depicting the hospital and the work that our team in the highlands do as they, through servant hearts, pour out their lives as the tangible hands and feet of Christ. He was able to bring together a number of different parts of the ministry including the doctoring, Community Based Health Care (CBHC), nursing, lab, maintenance and the patients themselves.  The incredible thing is how he through his art, has demonstrated that they are all one under Jesus.

The mural has been erected alongside the outpatient waiting area, for all to see as they come to the hospital for healing and introduction to the Great Physician.

Our God is truly the master artist, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…” Genesis 1:1

Thanks so much Nate and Jill for using your creative gifts and talents to bless the people of the highlands with such a warm, welcoming reminder of the Lord that heals every hurt.

What gifts and talents has God given you…how can you use them for His glory?
